Note: December 1st, 2024 is deadline for Chapter 944 to receive your application. Email info@eaa944.org for additional information.
Unforgettable aviation memories and new friends await middle- and high school-aged students every summer with EAA’s weeklong camps designed to introduce young people to the aviation world. The camps are held at EAA’s Air Academy Lodge, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Camp participants explore aviation through technical and learning classrooms as well as hands-on experiences from knowledgeable instructors and mentors. They’ll gain life skills to apply to in everyday life and discover the unlimited opportunities a career in aviation present.
Typically, Chapter 944 will offer several “Learn To Fly Scholarships” through out the year as funds become available. There are two different types of scholarships that we may be available.: The “Ray Aviation Scholarship” is funded by the Ray Foundation Inc. and “EAA Chapter 944 Learn To Fly Scholarship“. There are several differences, including value, age of applicant and previous completed flight training. Download each application and read carefully for detail. Each applicant should email info@eaa944.org to verify availability of funds before starting the process. Chapter 944 Learn To Fly Scholarships are available only to individuals living in counties covering our chapter membership (North Central Missouri).
