EAA Chapter 944 is committed to helping aspiring pilots achieve their dream of flight. Through our scholarship programs, we may be able to provide financial assistance to help you begin your flight training.

As funding becomes available, Chapter 944 typically offers two scholarship opportunities:

• The Ray Aviation Scholarship for applicants 15–19 years of age who meet the program requirements. This scholarship can provide up to $12,000 to help cover your training expenses.
• EAA Chapter 944 Learn to Fly Scholarship for applicants 19 years of age and older who reside within the Chapter 944 service area of North Central Missouri. This is a cost/share scholarship where EAA Chapter 944 will cover 50% of your training expenses, up to a maximum of $2,500, once you have soloed. Additional details will be found on the scholarship’s application.
